This 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to be accessible, flexible, and self-paced for the busy yogi! For those who want to deepen their practice, learn how to become a safe, confident, and well-rounded yoga teacher. Evolve Yoga + Wellness is excited to once again offer a Yoga Alliance Registered 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training beginning Fall 2024!
Our exclusive yoga teacher training program will provide you with the time, space, and community to deepen your own practice and uncover a journey that will transform you for a lifetime. You will learn the tools necessary to teach your own classes and upon completion, register with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200. This training will provide you with a solid foundation to both deepen your practice and learn to teach yoga.
This self-paced course has all the requirements you’ll need to answer the call to unlock the teacher within. All material will be provided and ready for you to access and digest at your own pace. Pre-recorded videos and live meetings are available to tune in when our hybrid course is active. You will have the opportunity to connect with other future yoga teachers, meet your co-leading teachers, and get the same support as our in-person training.
In this fully virtual course, you will:
- Advance your study of Asana: how to practice, cue, and assist postures.
- Build confidence in guiding students with props and verbal assists.
- Learn the principles of anatomy and body mechanics.
- Gain an understanding of Ayurveda and trauma-informed yoga
- An introduction to prenatal yoga and modifications
- Master the components of the Evolve Method of Vinyasa Flow Sequencing.
- Gain knowledge in the 8 Limbs of Yoga.
- Learn the basics of Evolve’s signature styles including Restorative + Yin
- Learn to live in alignment with yoga’s ten ethical guidelines: the Yamas & Niyamas.
- Cultivate your voice, both as a teacher and as an individual.
- Gain an understanding of yoga history and philosophy.
- Understand the practices of pranayama & meditation.
- Learn the ability to teach online and in person classes
- Take part of in-depth conversations about teaching, philosophy, and more
- Learn the business of yoga.
Through this self-led course, you will:
- Absorb and interpret required readings.
- Journal your reflections.
- 20 virtual classes of your choosing.
- Opportunity to observe required virtual classes with a RYT-500 teacher of your choosing
- A log to keep track of your classes
- Satisfactory completion of all assignments, readings and quizzes.
- Complete co-teaching, practice teaching, and supervised teaching experiences as assigned

Class Requirements:
- Students are required to take classes throughout the duration of the program to experience different styles, levels, and methodologies. Twenty classes are included in the cost of your tuition and will be loaded onto your account once training begins. We recommend 1 year of consistent yoga practice and require a minimum of six months of consistent yoga practice or equivalent training.
Graduation Requirements:
- All required course materials must be completed in their entirety and submitted prior to receiving a certificate.
- Submission of class log and observation log
- Practicum: Recorded 60 minute class approved by lead teacher
- Submission and passing of final written exam
- Write and submit a three paragraph review of their yoga teacher training experience
- You are not eligible to graduate from the program or register as an RYT-200 if you have not completed all required hours of training, assignments, exam, and practicum
Investment:
- The cost of the training is $650; payment is due in full upon registration. Payment plans are available upon request. Tuition must be paid in full upon registration unless a payment plan is arranged. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Location:
- Unless otherwise arranged or noted, all training sessions virtually through an online platform. All links and required access information will be provided upon your registration.

Evolve Yoga + Wellness Co-Owners Kelley Sidorowicz, E-RYT 500 and Emily Thompson Kuchta, RYT-500 will be your lead teachers for the training. We will also be inviting skilled and experienced guest teachers from Evolve and the surrounding community to help facilitate your training for a variety of modalities. These instructors are experts in yogic philosophy, anatomy, assists, class sequencing, meditation, the subtle body and so much more!
